the effects of NICT (new information and commuication technologies- media, Web 2.0, the Internet etc.....) on the youth and their voting decision during elections.

We live today in an world where technology day by day is increasing, and day by day they effecting the youth in different ways, and now a days politicians are using the media as a commercial for themselves to effect the youth and effect their decision in voting, web 2.0 made it easier for everyone to communicate with one another and to make the youth change their decisions in many things, even their voting decisions. It helps them understand better what they want and make them interact with other people and give their opinions. In other ways it may cause problems such as arguments, and fights the youth may get into because of the media and what it presents to the youth and how it pesents it to them.


Now the youth may have their own opinion in the elections and they can side with any political party they want and effect other people with them. With the internet and web 2.0 the youth can do blos and website for specific political parties and post whatever they want to effect others and change peoples decisions about the elections.

The media has effected the youth very much especially in developing skills necessary for effective participation in society, promoting tolerance and increased cooperation and exchanges between the youth, it has Improved access to information in order to enable young people to make better use of their opportunities to participate in decision-making and in developing opportunities for young people to learn their rights and responsibilities, promoting their social, political, developmental and environmental participation.

The internet helps the youth in making their decision in voting, and participate in online activities that have to do with the elections and make websites that support a political party, it is like doing an online campaign.

In conclusion the media has a great effect on this generation and it is changing their lives. The media has become a place for commercials, and for effecting the youth and changing their decisions in everything.
